The Austin Carson Band is a Rock n' Roll quartet hailing from Peterborough Ontario. Since their formation in 2009, the band has been able to share the stage with memorable Canadian acts - some of which include; Big Sugar, I Mother Earth, The Trews, Monster Truck, David Wilcox, and Big Wreck. In a recent article by The Peterborough Examiner, reporter Paul Rellinger states, “As well known and revered for its explosive onstage energy and its superb musicianship, The Austin Carson Band—which originally formed at St. Peter’s high school in 2009—is a staple on the local music scene and has been for some time. They played The Social (Peterborough's Largest Music Bar) monthly for some two years now, as well as headlining the Rotary Peterborough Victoria Day Celebration in Del Crary Park for the past six years.” Close to nine years after recording its debut EP, in June 2019 the Austin Carson Band released "Young Hearts", a five-track EP of original music recorded last October at Subterranean Sound Studios in Toronto.
